We didn’t just create a place to stay; we built a home. At φikies, hospitality meets the profound quiet. Grounded in natural materials, earthy textures, and intentional simplicity, every room is designed to help us slow our pace, focus our mind, and feel that we have truly arrived.

We believe that true calm is found in the tactile details. The architecture, shaped by a distinct design firm, flows organically around us. The soul of these homes lives in the small things. From the handmade artworks by Myrsini to the pieces we carefully curate in each residence. Every custom sculpture and textured surface is a gentle reminder to touch, pause, and appreciate the present moment.

Rooted in Plaka, Naxos.
We chose Plaka because it captures the raw, grounding energy of Naxos. Just steps from the Aegean Sea, we found our perfect balance: a spot secluded enough to let us hear only the wind, yet deeply connected to the authentic rhythm of the island. It is a place that gives us space to just be.

The craft
From the beginning, we decided that anything made for these spaces would be made by someone. Not sourced, not specified from a catalogue commissioned. Each piece belongs to the residence it was made for, and each maker brings their own logic to the material. Myrsini Alexandridi was the first.

Our name holds our truth.
The letter "Φ" (F) honors our roots. Our son, Filippos, merged with "oikies," the Greek word for homes.
Because this is a family-run project, our care is deeply personal. We created φikies to share our island’s quiet magic, offering the sincere, unpretentious hospitality that we ourselves value the most.
